NRPAP (Net Revenue Per Active Player) is a core KPI in online gaming and casino operations. It measures how much Net Revenue a casino generates, on average, from each active player over a given time period.
In its simplest form NRPAP is calculated by dividing the Net Revenue by the number of active players.

Although NRPAP is defined in terms of Net Revenue, Betty currently calculates the metric using Net Gaming Revenue (NGR):

NRPAP = Net Gaming Revenue (NGR) ÷ Number of active players

This is because Payment Losses − the difference between NGR and NR, primarily resulting from fraud − are difficult to reliably attribute to specific player cohorts.
Using NGR therefore provides a consistent basis for calculating NRPAP across cohorts. In practice, the difference between NGR and NR is generally small, making NGR a useful proxy for Net Revenue when calculating NRPAP.

Let’s suppose a cohort of 5 players joins Betty. Let’s say they deposit $1,000 in total, and get $100 in rewards. Let’s say that a week later, they lose all $1,000 + $100 = $1,100
The NRPAP for each player for that week is the total amount deposited divided by the number of players.
In this case, the NRPAP is $1,000 ÷ 5 = $200

NRPAP is a core monetization metric because it measures both monetization efficiency and player quality.

A higher NRPAP generally indicates stronger monetization, healthier player behavior, and more effective reward allocation.
