All companies in the Bettyverse share a common set of values.

Our values guide how we think, make decisions, and work together every day.

At a high level, we focus on three things:

Bring the olives

One way we capture our approach to customer-centricity is through the motto “Bring the olives.”

It means going the extra step – doing thoughtful things that improve the experience for customers and colleagues, even when not required.

The phrase comes from a story about our first employee’s favorite restaurant, where olives were always brought to the table without being asked. It was a small gesture that reflected genuine customer care and attentiveness.

Talk to Jackie

“Talk to Jackie” represents our commitment to curiosity and humility.

It means asking questions, seeking context, and learning from others before jumping to conclusions. We don’t assume we have all the answers – we stay open, listen, and explore different perspectives.

At Betty, curiosity helps us make better decisions, collaborate more effectively, and continuously improve how we work.

Go to Sofia

“Go to Sofia” reflects our bias toward action and ownership.

It means stepping up, taking responsibility, and doing what it takes to move things forward. Instead of waiting or overthinking, we act with intent and figure things out along the way.

We believe progress comes from doing – and learning through doing.
