Purpose

When working across multiple domains, you may need to send emails from different addresses without switching accounts. Gmail’s “Send As” feature lets you do this from a single inbox, ensuring consistent communication and branding.

Step by step

If your 2-factor verification is on, you will need to set up an app password. If your 2-factor verification is not enabled, you can skip this and go directly to Step 2.

Step 1. Create a new app password

  1. Log in to the email you want to use for send as.
  2. Click your profile icon (top right) → Manage your Google Account (or use the direct link).
